Iris Ophelia (Janine Hawkins IRL) has been featured in the New York Times and has spoken about SL-based design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in Manhattan and with pop culture/fashion maven Johanna Blakley. Visit Jay's Flickr stream for more, and take this advice: you're really going to want to look at these pics full-sized. But damn impressive! Either way, you can bet that I'll be trying out his ENB configuration to achieve the lighting and effects demonstrated in his work. So like I said, it's a bit disappointing.

What all that means is that while you can get close, Jay's character Gwynhyr will always be a unique, one-of-a-kind example of just how amazing Skyrim can look with a talented artist and modder behind the scenes. Thanks for watching Subscribe to see more Skyrim mod videos (about 3-5 HD episodes each week). Also, feel free to suggest about which mods to review (new or. The shape is not exactly possible with the vanilla Gwynhyr's eyes are from the Natural Eyes mod and also use Realistic Eye In the male normals (very subdued obviously) with a lot of hand :-) Gwynhyr's muscular/athletic normals are actually partly from merging Navetsea's and a couple of others that I don't really remember any more vanilla HD normals as a base, with pieces blended in from They're made from bits and pieces of other sets The normal maps are my own, and both characters use different sets via Hand-painted the deeper red in the middle of the lips, which fades out Gwynhyr's freckles are hand-painted, and her lips are a mix: I Textures, but I've worked on the diffuse maps a lot since then.

It's a bit technical, but here's his full walkthrough: His answer was a little disappointing, but it impressed me even more. I've modded my game to hell and back, especially when it comes to the detail of the avatars, so when I noticed features in Jay's gorgeous portraits that I didn't recognize I had to nosily ask what mods were making these amazingly detailed characters possible. Now, Jay takes some incredibly impressive landscape and still-life shots in Skyrim, but my favorites by far are the pictures he shoots of his avatars and companions. Keep reading for more of Jay's jaw-dropping work, and details on some of the game modifications that make it possible! And what kind of blogger would I be if I didn't share? Of course I had to track this talented person down on Flickr and sift through hundreds more amazing pictures. I've written about taking gorgeous Skyrim snapshots before (and the importance of using an ENB mod to do it), but Jay's work still completely blew me away when I came across it. No, these aren't stills from a big-budget Elder Scrolls CG movie, these gorgeous landscapes and intense portraits are screenshots from one man's ultra pimped-out game. While the mod itself is good, it was the images taken by the modder that really caught my eye. Recently while browsing Skyrim Nexus (a massive Skyrim modding community site) I stumbled across The Goddess ENB Configuration, a lighting and visual effects mod that gives your game a more polished and ethereal vibe. Should I start trying to find the versions that apply to my game version? Do I need other patches? What are any of your experiences if at all with modding this version of the game?Įdit: After installing Blood Enhancer, I do notice more blood spurting, more stains on clothes that are very vivid, but I still don't see the spatters on the interior of the house itself.Iris Ophelia's ongoing review of gaming and virtual world style Right now I'm working on figuring out the Blood Enhancer. If possible I'd like to be using Bellyaches Animal and Creature Pack, Enhanced blood textures (It didn't look like any blood was spattered on the ground while going through the beginning area), and Immersible Weapons as well. I sacrificed many I wanted to use just to make it so my girls could have rounder bottoms T_TĪ Quality World Map, AOF Believable Hair (male + female), Calientes Female Body Mod Big Bottom Edition (used the BodySlider to great booty enhancing effects!), Elaborate Textiles (including the wedding dress), Immersive Armors, SMIM, Unofficial high Resolution Patch, and XCE. These are all the mods I'm currently using. Right now they aren't crashing constantly, but I'm not positive some of them are working right or at all. Then I started trying to use things like Calientes Big bottom Body mod and things got crashy.

So I'm using Nexus Mods because while I know some computer things, I'd like it to be dumb'd down for me. It would save me a ton of headaches with modding, not to mention DLC's etc (I didn't buy the DLC's originally and it'd feel wrong of me to pirate them). Once I get a job and pay off all the important things like debts and use my money for other real life concerns, I'd love to buy it on steam. Now I just play on another system is how I see it (and an older version). I had bought the game for Xbox a while ago, full price, but it stopped working quickly.
